Scrapbooking - Paper Bag style

This is something I talked to a friend about quite awhile ago and just took forever in getting around to doing it.Here is how to make a fun scrapbook out of paper lunch bags. I have a bunch laying around from when my kids were in school and I just never could bring myself to throw them away. I saw this cool idea somewhere and tried it myself. This would be a great project for vacation bible school or girl scouts, etc etc.

Paper bags

Push the end out

Cut along the fold around the bottom with straight scissors

Go back and cut both ends with fun pattern scissors for a neat look

Fold in half

Punch two holes on the folded edge approximately 1 inch from each side and 1/2 inch from the fold

I like to put hole protectors to support the holes so they don't rip out

Use notebook rings or ribbon to tie all of your cut, folded, and punch bags together

Now you have great little pockets to put your photos, concert tickets, and other memorobilia in

Now just decorate the outsides of the bags anyway that suits you and the theme of your new thrifty scrapbook! Inexpensive and fun for kids and adults! A GREAT green project!
